Ю-Питер (transliterating Yu-Peter) - supergroup, founded in 2001, St. Petersburg by Vyacheslav Butusov (Вячеслав Бутусов) (ex-Nautilus Pompilius), along with Georgy Kasparyan (Георгий (Юрий) Каспарян) (ex-Кино), Oleg Sakmarov (Олег Сакмаров) (ex-Аквариум) and Eugene Kulakov (Евгений Кулаков) (ex-Пойманные Муравьеды). In this team they recorded single «Ударная любовь» (Striking love) (2001) and a full length album «Имя рек» (Name of Rivers)(2003). At the same time, Sakmarov left the group. In 2004 the group recorded an album «Биографика» (Biografika), which tracks - «Песня идущего домой» (Song of a coming home man) and «Девушка по городу» (Girl in the city) heavily rotating on the radio. In 2008 came the new album «Богомол» (Bogomol). Song «Скажи мне, птица» (Tell me, bird) hit a Russian radio broadcasts.
