Kim Young Shin (김영신; born on June 19, 1988) better known by his stage name 문문 (MoonMoon) is a South Korean singer and songwriter. Prior to his musical activities, he was originally a professional soldier. He served for five years as a navy officer. In his mid-twenties, he went to the Yeoju University Practical Music Department for his dreams of music. When he was a college student, he formed a band called 'Reservoir Daughters' and entered the music world. However, when the band was not working well, he temporarily disbanded and then made his debut with the self-titled album Moon, Moon. In November 2017, he signed with Starship Entertainment's sub-label House of Music. However his exclusive contract ended in May 2018 after a media source reveal he was on a two-year probation after being caught secretly filming a woman in a public bathroom in August 2016 and did not disclosed his criminal record when signing with the company.
