Tram 11

Tram 11 is a Croatian rap group formed in 1996 in Zagreb. The group was formed by Nenad Šimun a.k.a. Target and Srđan Ćuk a.k.a. General Woo. At that time Croatia had no real rappers until they emerged as one of the artists on the "Blackout Project" - a project started by the radio station "Radio 101" with a task to promote hip-hop and rap in Croatia- they made a great song "Hrvatski Velikani" and were first on many unofficial top-lists. Album "Čovjeće, ne ljuti se" has been published 1999. It got great review's from Croatian critics and it was very popular, the song "Kužiš Spiku" was even published on the compilation "The Best Of Internacional Hip-Hop". This fact proves that Tram 11 is one of the most influential and modern groups in Croatia. Tram 11 doesn't exists anymore today but General Woo and Target put out their solo albums. Until today they will remain as the first and only rap band that made a big mark on Croatian rap scene. Read more on Last.fm.
