TenchuX (also known as Tenchu before he made an official name switch to do a conflict with a Japanese band of the same name) has been into the production of remixing/remastering video game music since he first was shown a program called Fruity Loops 4 in June of 2003. Since then he has made songs in a broad range of genres. Be it trance, country, or orchestration he has attempted it thus far. His popular Chrono Cross remix "She Was Dreaming In The Rain" has been featured on Remix.ThaSauce.net. http://remix.thasauce.net/song.php?id=40 He "was" also prominent at Newgrounds.com with all his songs hitting platinum (1k downloads) or better during the 2004-2005 period. This was due to his focus on quality over quantity. His songs from the site can be viewed below. http://tenchux.newgrounds.com/audio/ Eventually, he took over three years off from making music (aside from the rare piece here or there) between July of 2005 - December 2008. Then once again stopping music from the end of January 2009 until Fall of 2009. That said, TenchuX is now back and quite committed to his endeavor of remastering video game music. He even has two remixes in the works for OCRemix including one for the Seiken Densetsu 3 album. So where do listen to TenchuX's music now? As a matter of fact he has all but stopped posting music on Newgrounds due to issues with the site having horrid exposure for those who don't have the time to post on the forums non stop or collaborate with flash creators. While he was once popular there, his extensive break all but evaporated that following and he found it was not worth the time to try and regain it. He has instead put all his effort into YouTube and is thoroughly enjoying the switch. http://www.youtube.com/user/TenchuXmusic He currently actively uploads a newly remastered song every single Wednesday and has no sign nor intention of missing any upload dates. On top of this he has already remastered most all of the Warcraft II soundtrack for your listening pleasure! There is also news that he is getting personally involved in a remastering of music from Mario games created in part by members within the ZREO (Zelda Reorchestrated) community. He already has songs from Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Super Mario 64, and Mario Kart 64 in the pipeline! On top of this he "may" (not 100% decided upon) also be getting involved in a similar project with music entirely focused on on the Metroid series. Though this will be on a more minimal scale as only Super Metroid currently has his eye. Read more on Last.fm.
