There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Started in 1990, Republic is a successful Hungarian band, playing popular music originating in the '60s, and inspired by Hungarian performers like Hobó, LGT and Koncz Zsuzsa. Their music is a mixture of folk, pop, and rock.
