Petos

Petos (Antti Peltonen) is a long-running undergound hip-hop artist from Kallio, Helsinki, Finland. Peltonen started his career rapping in English, but quickly changed to Finnish. Petos has repeatedly stated that he would not release any new material, and he also likes to keep a low profile. He is best noted from his four solo albums and the group Kallio Underground with fellow Finnish rapper Jontti. Petos has also appeared on numerous other Finnish rappers' songs as a featuring artist. Petos had his first touch with hip-hop at the end of the 80’s, when he heard Public Enemy on the radio. He started rapping in 1990, and back in those days he was called Master-A. He was also a member of the legendary rap group TOA (The Obstinate Age) under the name J. Dustin A. His lyrics circulate around alcohol, critisism of society, and crimes. He is known for his ultra-violent lyrical content and politically incorrect messages. Discography under 'Petos' moniker follows: City-karhun metsästäjä (self-produced 2002) Rappiotaide (self-produced 2003) CD Törkeimmät petokset (3rd Rail 2006) CD/LP Toivo parasta ja pelkää pahinta (3rd Rail 2010) CD Testamentti (3rd Rail 2016) CD/CAS/DIGI/LP.
