There are at least two artists with the name Nery. 1. Nery (Portugal) - DJ // Producer // Scratch Musician 2. Nery 1. DJ since 2003, he is an emerging talent in the portuguese music scene. Beginning his work as a DJ, deeply involved in the Drum n' Bass scene, early he took on his Jazz roots and naturally got more involved with the black music rythms. His Funk sets guide us on an exquisite journey throughout an exclusive vinyl collection, always spiced up with a twist of scratch. Nevertheless, he stretches his musical journey through Funk, Miami Beats, Hip Hop, Future Beats, Low End Beats, Breaks, Dubstep, Jazz and Jungle/Drum n' Bass. Labeling sounds isn't the point here. I went there, next to him, and listened...well, guess what, I loved that tune, and I got to know later that it was called 'Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix)'. After that, I asked him to show me some more tunes of that unknown genre, and he showed me two more, ResuRection & Airwave. Well, what can I say... I immediately fell in love with that kind of music.
