Myrna Braza

Myrna Braza, born and raised in Bergen, Norway, with roots from Norway and the Philippines, has been referred to as the Soul Queen of Bergen. She writes soulful music, and her latest EP "Moments" is a sweet blend of soul, pop and funk. Myrna is what a Do-It-Yourself artist and songwriter represents, as she manages her own career. She has released 1 album, 1 EP, 5 singles and several music videos since 2009, that have all received great feedback and reviews. Her latest music video Go! received more than 2 million views at Vube in less than 3 weeks! American JiveWired recently described Myrna´s voice as 'timeless and beautiful' with «music that perfectly combines deluxe soundscapes and modern pop arrangements with house, r&b and soul elements to create a sound that is instantly likable», and British magazine JemmTwo wrote «She has a beautiful, strong voice and an infectious bubbly onstage persona». In 2012 Myrna was voted "Artist of the Year" at the online TV station and music community Artists In The Plus, which has more than 1.8 million followers on Google+. After that, Myrna became more involved with Artists In The Plus and now she spends a lot of her time helping out other independent musicians and artists around the world. Myrna is also a great performer and has played concerts at known venues and festivals in Norway and UK, including winning several band competitions. Myrna has been the support for artists like Dwele, Ryan Leslie and Rapahel Saadiq and has been featured in several Norwegian TV shows, including radio, blogs and magazines in Norway, China, The Philippines, UK and US.
