Mikael Mats Robert Persson, professionally known as Mike Perry, is a Swedish DJ and music producer born on June 24, 1983, in Skövde, Sweden. Throughout his career, he has achieved notable success in the music industry, particularly in the electronic dance music genre. Perry's musical journey began in 2007 with the release of "Psycadelic," a collaborative effort with Stephan M. In 2012, he continued to make strides in the industry with the release of "Put Me Up," an electronic dance music production on the Mark Brown label, published by CR2 Records. Perry further expanded his repertoire with collaborations such as "We Don't Sleep in the Night" alongside Cecilia Axeland and "Whompin" featuring Filip Jenven. Transitioning to a "big room" style, Perry remixed Miriam Bryant's "Push & Play" in 2013, showcasing his versatility as a producer. In 2017, Perry announced his forthcoming single "Hands" featuring American singer Sabrina Carpenter and British boy band The Vamps. The track was released later that month, further adding to Perry's discography. Continuing to release music, Perry dropped singles in 2018, including "California" featuring Hot Shade and Karlyn, and "Don't Hide" with Willemijn May. These tracks achieved chart success in Sweden, reaching number 35 and number 31, respectively. On January 18, 2019, Perry released "Runaway," which secured the number 1 position in the United States, Chile, and Hungary. In the same year, he collaborated with fellow DJs Ten Times and Dmitri Vangelis, along with vocals from The Companions, for the single "Changes," which reached number 65 in Sweden.
