Lost Without Cause

Lost Without Cause are a 3 piece pop-punk/rock/alternative band from Watford, Hertfordshire, UK. Formed in late 2004, armed with over 35 songs in their varied repetoire. the band have built up a solid foundation and have an ever growing fan-base from all over the UK. In Feb 2007, The band were selected by MTV to feature as part of they’re new talent initiative program, this involved a live performance and interview being aired on MTV2 throughout May and June 2007. The segment is viewable below in the videos section. In late 2007, Lost Without Cause took part in a international battle of bands, performing a show at the Camden Barfly. After progressing to the 3rd round, the band were invited to play a the London Astoria 2, The gig was a massive success and the band progressed onto the 4th round in the competition where they played the London Astoria2 again in early 2008. Also in late 2008, Lost Without Cause visited and recorded a live session in the world famous Maida Vale Studios. In July 2008, Lost Without Cause were selected by Bon Jovi themselves from over 400 bands as one of their top 20. An online vote was then carried out between the top 20, where Lost Without Cause narrowly missed out on a top 2 spot which would have seen them go on to support Bon Jovi at Tickenham In August 2008, Lost Without Cause were spotted and signed to Project1 Records, with whom they released the double A-side single Write Your Own Ending / Electric for download on I-Tunes and also hard copies from Zavvi stores nationwide. Accompanying videos were made and are available to view online at www.LostWithoutCause.com. Unfortunately due to the bad financial climate of 2009, Project1 Records had to cease business, and after a amicable closure, Lost Without Cause returned to being an unsigned band The band have also self released various CD's, also distributing free CD's at shows and promotional events to get their music heard by a wider audience.
