L.A.Z. (Berea, OH): Innovative, determined, and versatile are just a few qualities that illustrate the voice of Reason Academy's own, L.A.Z. L.A.Z.'s career in hip hop began in Berea, Ohio while attending college. From the moment he stepped foot into the vocal booth, he knew his essence would be unlike any other. The message in his music is a direct result of the challenges that he has faced up to this point in his life. His musical talent evokes passion, individuality, and a common ground for people who may have undergone lifestyles similar to his. Currently, L.A.Z. is working on finalizing his distribution deal with Island Def Jam, the development of Reason Academy's website, an autobiography about his experiences while in foster care, and his next mixtape, "The Lazarus Effect," which is projected to be released in the spring of 2011.
