Irina Kairatovna

Irina Kairatovna is a Kazakh creative association that produces musical and humorous content. The composition of the group gathered back in their student years at KVN at ENU: the team includes Aldiyar Zhaparkhanov (author of jokes), Azamat Marklenov (producer), Zhasulan Ongarov (improviser), Ilya Gumenny (composer), Ulan Kayralasov (lineman producer). The history of the creative association began on May 19, 2017 with the creation of vines and sketches on Instagram. Later, they moved to YouTube, where they began producing a humorous sketch show with the same name “The Irina Kairatovna Show”. In the first ten months on their channel, the group collected 104 thousand subscribers and almost 6 million views. On December 19, 2021, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence, Irina Kairatovna released the film “Asyp Baramyn Has Been Recovered”. In 2021 they received the "Jager Music Awards 2021" in the category "People's choice" (Kazakhstan) as well as the national award "Khalyktyn suyiktisi - People's Favorite of the Year" in the category "Cultural Worker of the Year".
