Fine Crowd

Fine Crowd entertained crowds from 1993 to its disbanding in late 1999. Fine Crowd received its name while attending the Terra Nova Folk Festival. The group toured extensively throughout Atlantic Canada, averaging 200 shows a year. In 1996, Fine Crowd released its debut independent recording, "Poverty's Arse". From October 1997 to March 1998, Fine Crowd was in studio recording "Sucker For Good Company", released April 1998. This album highlights the band's polished presentation, infectious personalities, and writing skills. Nine of the songs are new and original, penned by members of the band. Fine Crowd are described as "an original, high-energy, traditional Celtic band", principally based on Newfoundland's Irish heritage.
