Eva & The Heartmaker

Specializing in a blend of guitar and synth driven dynamic pop, Eva & the Heartmaker is Norwegian duo Eva Skram Stenersen and Thomas Stenersen. After meeting in 2005, the pair instantly bonded over a shared enthusiasm for classic, and contemporary melodic pop music. Based out of Oslo, they have so far written and released four critically acclaimed studio albums as well as a multitude of singles, all of which have received heavy rotation (including 6 of them being A-listed) on every major Norwegian radio station; in addition to being playlisted in Italy, Denmark and Finland. The band’s infectious pop gem “Joanna”, from their latest album Traces of You, topped the official Norwegian Airplay Charts for several months in 2013. Word abroad about Eva & the Heartmaker is steadily starting to grow too, with the band picking up an ever-increasing amount of fans and supporters throughout Europe and the USA. “All those little music lame-os better move outta the shadows of the volcano that is Eva & the Heartmaker because this mother is about to blow.” - The New York Post The band has travelled extensively throughout Norway on a number of national tours, along with performing on the festival circuit; in 2013 they took on their biggest and most ambitious tour to date, selling out in nearly every major town and city they appeared in. They have also performed at the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, and were voted best Norwegian act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2011. Eva & the Heartmaker are currently writing and demoing for their eagerly anticipated as yet untitled new album, due for release sometime in 2015. Read more on Last.fm.
