1. Easy Living is a San Francisco Bay Area punk band featuring members of Beat Guts and Stressors, but their style is significantly different than those projects. This band draws from influences such as Husker Du; The Melvins; Dinosaur, Jr.; The Jesus and Mary Chain; and Nirvana. They recently released a four-song demo, available at http://easyliving.bandcamp.com/ 2 . Easy Living is a Norway based band, Christian Låtveit - Lead vocal, Harald Ringvold - Backgr. Vocals & Drums, Benjamin L. Svindland - Bass, Dag Terje Helle - Lead El- Guitar, Abel Ringvold - Backgr. Vocals & El - Guitar Rebellion has always been one of Rock'n Roll's biggest themes. Easy Living's rebellion is towards the secularity of the post-modernism. There is only ONE way to God and only ONE name by which you are saved! Five boys from the city Lyngdal, and one from Kvinesdal becomes Easy Living. The band started up in 2004, with a big dream and only three people. Bo - Dag Terje Helle (el-guitar),Harri - Harald Ringvold (drums) and Chris - Christian Låtveit (bass and vocals). The three played together for about a year, but an element was missing. Springtime 2005 Fowland - Stian Fåland hit the band on synth. The band got new influences, but are they yet complete? They come from the way southern part of Norway, in the middle of the so called “bibelbelte” in the “biblebelt”. Not long time ago, this wast land was the land where the Devil lived in the big drum, and Jesus only liked old hymns and certain types of jazz. Easy Living has much bigger dreams than that. They are now breaking loose from the “bibelbelte” by playing Rock’n Roll on their own terms. They where put together for a reason, to make known that salvation is the easy way. They themselves are walking the hard way of no record company and only a dream to follow. Rocking the globe, with a hard hitting message. Fowland is currently on a break from the band, but travels with us as a sound engineer. In May 2009, Bo decided to take a break from the band due to living situation, but there might be a chance that he will return one day.. We will have to see about that. But the band will continue to rock for God and spread the good news through awesome rock'n roll music! Now an new era has come. Springtime 2011 the band is now back togwther with Bo. Simon has droped out. But we're still rockin...
