Alvy Singer Big Band

There are two artists by the name of Alvysinger : 1. Alvy Singer is the soloist project of Jano Seitún (Buenos Aires, 1978), academic training multiinstrumentalist popular genres explored by actively participating in them. His resume includes disparate worlds as the Academic Orchestra of the Teatro Colon, groups 4 Winds and Satellite Kingston and the Orquesta Tipica Imperial. In 2004, Alvy Singer won the award for Best Soloist in the "Hold Buenos Aires", which took a jury of former Almond Rodolfo Garcia, "Roy" Quiroga of Mice Parade and journalist Alfredo Rosso. Daring composer and songwriter, for several years presented in format "single set" (guitar, harmonica and banjo) or by the Big Band: a lively chamber formation of eight. With three albums released: Volumen 1 (2005), La Elegancia (2007), and Corazón Fantasma (2009) -the threeof them with the Big Band-, Alvy has extensive experience in shows: highlighting those made in different cultural centers such as: Centro Culturales Gral. San Martín, Carlos Gardel, de La Cooperación y la Alianza Francesa, teatros Margarita Xirgu, IFT y Viejo Consejo (S. Isidro), Anfiteatro Griego (Costanera Sur) y diferentes salas como Million, Vaca Profana, El Nacional, La Cigale, No Avestruz y el Auditorio de Radio Nacional, among others. Jano also participated in festivals BAFIM, Festival Telecom y Verano en el Planetario, and presentations of books Macanudo 5 (Liniers), Cerca (Daniel Krupa, en MALBA) y Fuegos de Edipo (Walter Lescano). He also collaborated on recordings and concerts Coiffeur, Pablo Dacal y la Orquesta de Salón, Pablo Grinjot y la Ludwig Van, Tomi Lebrero y su Puchero Misterioso y Onda Vaga. Outside of Buenos Aires he played at La Plata, Rosario, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Venado Tuerto and Uruguay (La Paloma and Cabo Polonio) and twice visited European venues, with shows in London, Paris, Madrid (accompanied by Nacho Mastreta) and Barcelona. 2. Alvysinger is the moniker of a solo indie pop project by Koushi Ono, a Japanese musician originating from Shibetsu, on the Hokkaido island. Read more on Last.fm.
