Ai Laika!

Ai Laika is a garage punk all-female band formed by former members of Slow Ride Home and Undercurrents on October 11, 2008 in Kiev, Ukraine. The band currently consists of Nastia (lead vocals/bass guitar), Lucy (drums/baking vocals), Lera (lead vocals/rhythm guitar). The first recording was a demo released in June, 2010 on the first punk-boat with the support of Stinx and Riot on the Radio. After that they played few successful gigs in Kiev and their first show in Moscow with Superkubik, Ricochet and Hell-o-Hill. The second recording EP "Sophie" was released in June, 2012. This record was produced and mastered by Alan Smyth from "2 fly studio" known for his work with Arctic Monkeys, Milburn, The Long Blondes and other great bands. After smash internet release played on few festivals and gigs in Kiev and other cities of Ukraine, took part in hardcore punk festival "Raketa" in St.Petersburg in august 2012. The band is currently working on new record.
